Es Lunes y comenzamos la semana hablando de talento emergente. Hoy rescato el post publicado la semana pasada sobre la Mostra Internacional do Encaixe de Camariñas para hablaros sobre los ganadores del concurso de jóvenes talentos del que tuve el placer de valorar como jurado.
28 fueron las colecciones que superaron la criba de los mas de 170 proyectos presentados para asistir a la final del certamen. Durante 3 intensos días pude ver cómo se desarrollaban en pasarela los ambiciosos proyectos de éstos nuevos talentos. Como en cada certamen de nóveles, la principal baza con la que juegan es la sorpresa a nosotros, el jurado. Pongamos el ejemplo de la participación en Eurovisión: las actuaciones que se quedan en tu retina son un compendio de talento, sorpresa y presencia escénica.
No olvidemos que un diseñador novel PUEDE y DEBE permitirse el buscar el camino de la sorpresa, el camino de la innovación; el plantearse "¿qué puedo aportar nuevo a la Moda?".
Y es precisamente por eso, que una colección titulada Verde, Superverde se hizo con el primer premio.
Tere y Marrancia, las ideadoras de ésta colección tan inteligentemente planteada, no dejaron indiferentes a nadie.
Con la película de El Quinto Elemento como clave de inspiración, la colección caminaba entre Moda y Performance, haciendo que todos los que presenciaban cada paso de los modelos en el desfile empezasen a cuestionarse cosas. Cosas tan banales como lo bonito y lo feo, si es ponible o no; Aviso a Navegantes: la Moda fuera de la intencionalidad de la comercialidad, no tiene por qué ser ponible; en una Mostra de jóvenes talentos esperamos que os volváis locos, que exprimáis esos sesos y regurgitéis vuestra creatividad hasta el máximo exponente. Que yo, como jurado, vea que vuestras propuestas bien podrían ser acogidas en Londres, París o Nueva York.
Ésta reflexión aquí la dejo, que cada uno la recoja como quiera, o pueda.
La colección, que bebe del kitsch y del punk, presentaba formas futuristas y vanguardistas en su diseño interno; pinceladas que se entreveían entre el clasicismo de los camisones de tul y encaje de Camariñas que, tipografiados a mano con palabras a priori inconexas, creaban una sensacion de perplejidad, incertidumbre y diseño exponencialmente internacional.
Otro de los aspectos a destacar, para mí fundamental, es el análisis reflexivo de la colección: éstas estudiantes de diseño pretenden implantar el tan necesario término neutro. Por qué un Hola, Hombre u Hola, Mujer cuando olvidamos la base primordial de Hola, Persona?
Interesante propuesta para que no caiga en el olvido.
Teresa Búa es una Gallega estudiante de ESDEMGA que interioriza el concepto de Arte y lo lleva a una forma multidisciplinar. Fotografía, Performance y ahora Diseño son caminos que lleva con paridad y reivindicación. Su talento reside en la provocación mental. Su llave para abrir conciencias es mostrar lo que la gente no se plantea, y lo consigue con maestría. Dar visibilidad al sexo o la naturaleza del cuerpo humano son bases para la autoaceptación que todos deberíamos tener.
Marrancia es el nombre artístico de la otra mitad del talento del que os hablo hoy. Estudiante de la EASD San Mateo, combina su pasión por el dibujo con el diseño de moda; el cual se lo plantea como un medio de expresión. Su complejo mundo interior se ve reflejado en la estética Trash, donde lo feo y lo grotesco ironizan sobre el mundo que la rodea y la evaden a un universo paralelo.
Éste interesante dúo no se completaría sin el nexo de unión creativo de ambas: Lois Búa. Pieza fundamental en todo este trabajo, se mantuvo en las sombras donde se siente más cómodo. Artífice de diferentes elementos de la colección y del sorprendente Maquillaje de los Modelos de la colección; sirve de inspiración a todo aquel que lo rodea. Un ser carismático, o ser de luz, como lo llamarían algunos. Luz que alumbró la materialización de Verde, Superverde.
"Para qué salvar la vida, cuando ves lo que hacen con ella."
No podemos olvidar que en el mundo enfermo en el que vivimos, en el que cada día atrasamos 10 años de evolución mental y aceptación del prójimo, la provocación es NECESARIA para la visibilidad. Basta de criticas y prejuicios, Hombres; levantáos las faldas y luchad!
Chicas, gracias por abrir mentes, por despejar la mía, y por hacerme ver que hay mas Extraterrestres en este Mundo. Y para finalizar, parafraseando a Tere tras ganar su premio;

Hello everyone!

Tere and Marrancia, the creators of this collection so cleverly raised, did not leave anyone indifferent.
With the film Fifth Element as a key inspiration, the collection walked between Fashion and Performance, making everyone who witnessed each step of the models in the parade began to question things. Teresa Búa is a Galician student of ESDEMGA who internalizes the concept of Art and takes it to a multidisciplinary way. Photography, Performance and now Design are paths that leads with parity and claim. His talent resides in mental provocation. Your key to opening awareness is to show what people do not ask, and you get it with mastery. Giving visibility to the sex or nature of the human body are grounds for self-acceptance that we should all have.
Marrancia is the stage name of the other half of the talent that I speak to you today. Student of the San Mateo EASD, combines her passion for drawing with fashion design; Which is presented as a means of expression. Its complex inner world is reflected in the aesthetic Trash, where the ugly and grotesque ironically about the world around it and evade a parallel universe.
This interesting duo would not be completed without the creative bond of both: Lois Búa. Fundamental piece in all this work, he remained in the shadows where he feels most comfortable. Artificer of different elements of the collection and the amazing Make-up of the Models of the collection; Serves as an inspiration to everyone around him. A charismatic being, or being of light, as some would call it. Light that illuminated the materialization of Green, Superverde.
