In the Park refleja la mujer joven y desenfadada.

______________

Hello everyone!

This week I changed the routine of the Blog and decided to bring a mix between Emerging Design and Event. I return to the International Festival of the Enchantment of Camariñas, to write about the proposals of young talents that surprised me the most.

It was an edition with a high level, making it clear that the new generations have wisely collected the witness of the lace tradition, and they show it in their reinterpretations of the classic and formal.

In the first place, I come to tell you about a collection that well summarizes the previous paragraph. A fresh and different collection, where the urban becomes hollow between the work of the palilleiras. In the Park reflects the young and carefree woman. A woman who drinks from tradition but reinterprets it in her here and now. Simple lines that make up a pretty interesting pret-a-porter. This is the winner of the 3rd Prize.

Drinking also from the maritime tradition of the place, we find (S) urco. A collection of coast with clothes that rub the craftsmanship. Wool, volumes, overlays and a very good use of lace in their designs made this presentation the worthy deserving of the 2nd Prize. Nice taste, and very careful details. Point in your favor to present a male line as a proposal.

Another of my favorites was Sackman. This proposal surprised me from beginning to end. A proposal entirely male, which combined everything that should be done. Difference, personality and nature are terms that encompass their designs. Masks of impersonalization, wood and cork and natural textures made this proposal one of my favorites.

Sweeping home, I must highlight the good taste of the Roots collection. His proposal brought the evocative elegance of the Dolce Vita with garments to the detail, where the relaxed colors of the chosen Pantone flowed with the vaporosity of his clothes. Details care even in the choice of complements; Here everything counts.

Also from the south, I pick up the proposal of the Obscurae collection. With it came the tenebrism of the work of the great Velázquez, with representations of some of his works through the various layers that covered the models. Under them, simplicity and pictorial reinterpretations through the lace.

Another of the proposals that I would like to highlight is the Serenas collection. He stood out for his reinterpretation of the muses and the evocation of the Galician land. Nets, fringes and a deep reinvention of those sailors uniforms used in the past made this collection stand out.

I can not fail to mention Collections such as Primary Colors and his funny inspiration in the painter's robes or the interesting ethnic proposal inspired by the Mayas, Ixchel. Variety of proposals, tastes and reinventions that, some with more taste than others, manage to capture your attention in a contest in boom like this.

Before finishing, I mention the winners of the 1st Prize, Teresa Búa and Marrancia, who with Verde, Superverde showed that the design, the message and the creativity well employed gather the necessary aspects to achieve the victory.

Until the next Exhibition.
