BEST x FEERIC : PART II

__________ ENGLISH VERSION _________

Hello everyone!

I continue with the 2nd part of the summary of the best of this edition of Feeric Fashion Week. I must say that I have found it very difficult to combine in just two posts a small brushstroke of talent presented in this 10th Edition.

On this part, I pick up the "heavyweights" from Feeric. Designers, who, year after year, mark their calendar in Sibiu. Ready? We started!

CHARLES & RON

It could not be others who inaugurated this summary. With the presentation last year, it seemed insurmountable. Well, my dear friends have done it again.
The Boromir factory was the chosen stage for its presentation. A cool, sophisticated, fun and timeless collection. Its clear seal is reflected in details, cuts and movements of the garments. The emblematics of Malta, land that they carry by flag, shares protagonism in this occasion with the dolphins. Elegance and savoir-faire intersect with the rock spot somewhere in the Mediterranean. I can only say WOW!

(Yes, she's the fabulous Ioana Grama closing the Show!)

CYLIA DORRA

If we talk about creative minds, we have to talk about Cylia. And if we talk about Magic, its collection "Silenia". Silenia is part of a poem, a spark of light that transforms into love, and then into dismay. I can not be objective with this Lebanese designer, since her innate elegance is transmitted to the clothes that she conceives and makes. A collection with great emphasis on embroidery made by hand, illustrations that tell the story poem that gives rise to the collection. The Show presented on the imposing stairs of the Brukental Palace, time and space seemed to be suspended. Majestic. Silenia, and Cylia, are pure magic.

SARAH JESSY JONES

We can say that this has been the edition of Eduardo and Diego (the latter absent in Feeric), the designers of Sarah Jessy Jones.
He was beginning to promise when by surprise, Eduardo picked up the Ambassador Award from Feeric in recognition of his work and commitment to Fashion Week.

He was also in charge of closing the shows of the different locations chosen this year. A streetcar ventured us into the forest and there, as sculpted by nature, the models emerged with the designs of vaporous lines. The lively colors characteristic of his designs stood out among the vegetation. One of the most special presentations of this edition. Congratulations!

(Fabulous Landiana closing the show hand to hand with Edu)

BIANCA POPP

This is one of the names that always come to mind when you talk about Feeric. The designer presented, as usual, her new creations in 2 shows. The first, an eccentric show with military atmosphere and a music band included. The second of them, already in interior, in the Venue. Nothing conventional, like her designer, who flees topics and conventions. Fluid designs, with a studied pattern, simplified and natural are the characteristic lines of this designer. A great point in her favor: masculine designs according to her global line. Fabulous.

MARIOS KARAVASILIS

The Greek designer again surprised. With AVATON again makes it clear that he came to contribute something different. Purely theatrical stylings, volumes and excess shape this unique collection. Casa Artelor, in the heart of Sibiu, was the ideal setting for the consecration in Feeric of my dear friend. His photographs, for me of the most striking of this edition, give a true reflection of this.

Special mention I want to give to my dear Pimpi Smith, that more than designer is artisan. Their hand embroidered handbags come from Argentina and always fill their shows with a different aura. With Peace and Love as leivmotiv this year, her designs with message revealed once again that in the difference is the triumph.

It's a great pleasure to see how that in which you believe bears its fruits, how it grows, and how the results mature. It is a great pleasure to be part of Feeric.

See you in the third part of this trilogy, where I will give you a general summary of everything that was seen, and was not seen during Fashion Week; Besides the triumph of the Spanish designers of this Edition!
