Hoy os vengo a hablar de un Álter Ego. Y es que María Magdalena, es ese desdoble de personalidad que a todos nos gustaría tener, y que Alejandra Jaime ha sabido domar para llevarlo a su terreno.
La joven de Lepe potencia sus ideales con cada esbozo en sus diseños; con gusto e irreverencia.

El costumbrismo, la cuestión de la idealización y el vacío interno de la ironía crean una interesante simbiosis en sus colecciones.
Como si de un vals a ritmo de rap se tratase, regurgita pensamientos e ideas que se extienden en cada una de sus creaciones.
Su trabajo es una prolongación de su ser. De su moral, de esos pensamientos que no te dejan salir de la cama un Domingo.
Ella no crea moda, crea ideas.
Su primera colección, "We Are Cattle", hizo mucho ruido por aquel 2015 cuando María Magdalena daba sus primeros pasos. Diseños con mensaje social, en los que todos de alguna manera digerimos, interpretamos y formamos parte.
Este pasado Febrero presentaba su nueva colección "Integración" en el apartado de talento emergente de la Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid, Samsung EGO. La pasarela se convertía en un Botellón Sevillano al ritmo de remixes pastilleros creados para la ocasión magistralmente por mis paisanos, los Beauty Brain; que nos trasladaban a principios del 2000, donde la guerra de la egemonía del estilo se libraba principalmente entre dos tribus: Canis y Pijos. El ambiente urban glam inundaba unos inconfundibles looks dotados de gran personalidad; entre los que destacaban los diseños de accesorios de la fabulosa Carmen Berdonces; de la que os hablaré en otro post.
Maria Magdalena va por libre. No sigue líneas marcadas. María Magdalena es la nueva versión de la pasión Andaluza. María Magdalena es futuro español. María Magdalena caricaturiza inteligentemente a la sociedad y nos la presenta en bandeja.
