Siempre me he sentido muy orgulloso del panorama creativo Nacional. Del panorama, que no de las oportunidades que se le brindan, pero ese es otro tema. Tenemos talento, tenemos profesionales. Y por ello, yo apuesto por las oportunidades para los emergentes.
A menos de un mes para que de comienzo
la 11º Edición de Feeric Fashion Week, os voy a adelantar un poco
de lo que veremos de manos de los talentos Emergentes Españoles que
vienen comigo.
5 son los talentos seleccionados que
desde España viajarán a Sibiu para presentar sus colecciones. Desde
Galicia, Andalucía y Canarias la creatividad de los emergentes
quedará representada en diferentes estilos y líneas, creando así
un grupo diverso, creativo y bien estructurado.
Desde las tierras Galegas nos llega,
Sergio Marey y Jenn Nun, del sur, el Onubense Juan Boleco y
representando el exotismo de las islas Canarias, Pedro Juan Glez y
Valeska Morin. Vamos a conocer algo mas sobre sus próximos trabajos.
Sergio Marey
El joven diseñador
Gallego fue el primero en embarcarse en ésta aventura. Presentará
en Feeric ADEUS, una colección con la Emigración Gallega como
leitmotiv. El diseñador, muy arraigado a la cultura y la historia de
su tierra, desarrolla el dramatismo de ésta historia a través de
superposiciones, deconstrucciones y cortes. Es una colección oscura
que intenta mostrar la crudeza de la emigración, la pobreza sufrida y la desolación artística que el exilio supuso en la
pobreza cultural de la época. La colección es una revisión del
pasado mediante la estética y las prendas, que simbolizan
sentimientos como la tristeza, el abandono, la soledad, la nostalgia
y el estrés mental de aquellos emigrantes. No sólo muestra el
pesimismo, a su vez, refleja in memoriam el hacer las paces con ésta
historia, la lucha contra el miedo. Una explosión Emocional. Una
reacción violenta. Un capítulo oscuro sobre la historia de Galicia.
A destacar, su sentido genderless donde el contenido es mas
importante que el continente.
Juan Boleco
El diseñador Onubense
representa el talento joven andaluz en ésta edición. METEORITO 2.0
será su propuesta sobre la pasarela. Una colección prét-á-porter
muy sofisticada con el carácter y la personalidad de su diseñador.
Refleja una mujer arriesgada y atrevida, con carácter, distinta al
resto; a su vez, una mujer elegante y muy femenina.
La colección nace como
base de la Teoría del Caos, donde las variaciones de los patrones y
los detalles de cada prenda llegan como un meteorito a la mente del
diseñador, donde el desorden se hace perfecto y las piezas se
ordenan por sí solas. La amplia combinación de una nutrida paleta
de colores con patrones aparentemente desordenados crean la unión
perfecta entre originalidad y personalidad que destacará en la
pasarela.
Jenn Nun
También las terras
galegas nos traen a esta joven diseñadora procedente del mundo de la
arquitectura. Su patronaje y líneas de diseño así lo reflejan.
Presentará DIS-OBEDIENT, resultado de un proceso creativo que
comienza en Londres, durante su período en la escuela Central Saint
Martins.
Una colección de
espíritu por diversión, jugando con colores primarios para crear
una perspectiva de aspecto diferente, texturas y volúmenes.
Artistas como Tony Cragg y Richard Deacon, las sinuosas siluetas de
los 80 inspiran este trabajo. Con ella pretende resurgir la magia de
las revolucionarias esculturas de Deacon a través de cada prenda de
la colección. La modelo y musa japonesa Sayoko Yamaguchi, y el
artista Chiharu Shiota traen la inspiración del lejano Oriente a
ésta colección. Como epílogo, la frase “Cuando la Arquitectura
se encuentra Con la Moda”.
Pedro Juan Glez
Con acento canario se nos
presenta este joven diseñador de La Palma, residente en Madrid.
Presentará FEMME, un colección fresca, sofisticada y muy femenina
donde la exaltación de la feminidad cobra protagonismo en el derecho
a elegir qué tipo de mujer quieres ser. Será una oda a la libertad,
dará voz a aquellas que deciden ser femeninas y que llevan el
empoderamiento por bandera. Influencias del arte Barroco, de artistas
como Noel-Nicolas Coypel o del trabajo de fotógrafos como Helmut
Newton o Steven Maisel confluyen para crear líneas sensuales y
delicadas, yuxtaposiciones entre Modernidad y Clasicismo, con alma de
alta costura entremezclando diferentes técnicas con el nude, el rosa
pastel y el aguamarina enmarcados por materiales iridiscentes,
holográficos y el dorado. A destacar su amplio concepto manual de
creación, donde la artesanía cobra un nuevo protagonismo en sus
prints pintados a mano.
Waleska Morin
El grupo de jóvenes
talentos Españoles lo cierra ésta diseñadora de La Palma. Ella
presentará STELLA, una colección con mucha magia. Las Islas
Canarias son el espacio con el cielo mas limpio y claro de Europa, y
posee condiciones excepcionales para la observación de las
estrellas. Inspirada por el cielo estrellado de su isla, reserva de
la Biosfera de la UNESCO, presentará una colección muy femenina y
sofisticada donde la mujer forma parte de un todo en la galaxia.
Tules bordados, paillettes, satén...reflejarán una colección
romántica y versátil donde su estilo entre el prét-á-porter y el
ready to wear destaca la silueta de la mujer y la realza. Chaquetas,
pantalones y faldas midi y vestidos largos marcarán las bases de una
colección fresca y diferente, con colores procedentes de la
descomposición del cielo nocturno: cálidos como el rojo y el
amarillo, y fríos como el violeta, el azul y el gris. El blanco y
negro en contraste con el plata y el dorado enmarcarán una colección
muy íntima y con presencia.

I have always felt very proud of my
National creative scene. Of the panorama, that not of the
opportunities that are offered to him, but that is another subject.
We have talent, we have professionals. And for that reason, I bet on
the opportunities for the emerging ones.
Less than a month before the start of
the 11th Edition of Feeric Fashion Week, I'm going to tell you a
little about what we will see at the hands of the emerging Spanish
talent that comes with me.
5 are the selected talents that from
Spain will travel to Sibiu to present their collections. From
Galicia, Andalusia and the Canary Islands, the creativity of emerging
artists will be represented in different styles and lines, creating a
diverse, creative and well-structured group.
From the Galegas lands, Sergio Marey
and Jenn Nun, from the south, the Onubense Juan Boleco and
representing the exoticness of the Canary Islands, Pedro Juan Glez
and Valeska Morin. We are going to know something more about next
collections.
Sergio Marey
The young Gallego designer was the
first to embark on this adventure. He will present Feeric ADEUS, a
collection with the Galician Emigration as leitmotiv. The designer,
deeply rooted in the culture and history of his land, develops the
drama of this history through superpositions, deconstructions and
cuts. It is a dark collection that tries to show the crudeness of the
emigration, the poverty that suffered and the artistic desolation
that the exile supposed in the cultural poverty of the time. The
collection is a review of the past through aesthetics and clothes,
which symbolize feelings such as sadness, abandonment, loneliness,
nostalgic and mental stress of those emigrants. Not only shows the
pessimism, in turn, reflects in memoriam make peace with this story,
the fight against fear. An emotional explosion. A violent reaction. A
dark chapter on the history of Galicia. To emphasize, its genderless
sense where the content is more important than the continent.
Juan Boleco
The Onubense designer represents the
young Andalusian talent in this edition. METEORITO 2.0 will be his
proposal on the catwalk. A very sophisticated prét-á-porter
collection with the character and personality of its designer. It
reflects a daring and daring woman, with character, different from
the group; At the same time, an elegant and very feminine woman.
The collection was born as the basis of
the Theory of Chaos, where the variations of the patterns and the
details of each garment arrive like a meteorite to the mind of the
designer, where the disorder becomes perfect and the pieces are
ordered by themselves. The wide combination of a large palette of
colors with seemingly disordered patterns create the perfect union
between originality and personality that will stand out on the
catwalk.
Jenn Nun
Also the terre galegas bring us this
young designer from the world of architecture. Her pattern and design
lines reflect it. She will present DIS-OBEDIENT, the result of a
creative process that begins in London, during her period at Central
Saint Martins School.
A collection of spirit for fun, playing
with primary colors to create a perspective of different look,
textures and volumes. Artists like Tony Cragg and Richard Deacon, the
sinuous silhouettes of the 80s inspire this work. With it, the magic
of Deacon's revolutionary sculptures resurfaces through each garment
of the collection. The model and Japanese muse Sayoko Yamaguchi, and
the artist Chiharu Shiota bring the inspiration of the Far East to
this collection. As an epilogue, the phrase "When Architecture
meets Fashion".
Pedro Juan Glez
With a Canarian accent are presented
with this young designer from La Palma, who lives in Madrid. It will
present FEMME, a fresh, sophisticated and very feminine collection
where the exaltation of femininity takes center stage in the right to
choose what kind of woman you want to be. It will be an ode to
freedom, it will give voice to those who decide to be feminine and
who carry the empowerment by flag. Influences of Baroque art, of

Waleska Morin
The group of young Spanish talent
closes this designer from La Palma. She will present STELLA, a
collection with a lot of magic. The Canary Islands are the space with
the clearest and clearest skies in Europe, and have exceptional
conditions for observing the stars. Inspired by the starry sky of its
island, UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, it will present a very feminine
collection and sophisticated where the woman is part of a whole in
the galaxy. Embroidered tulle, paillettes, satin ... will reflect a
romantic and versatile collection where the style between the
ready-to-wear and the ready to wear highlights the silhouette of the
woman and enhances it. Jackets, trousers and midi skirts and long
dresses will mark the bases of a fresh and different collection, with
colors coming from the decomposition of the night sky: warms like red
and yellow, and colds like violet, blue and gray. Black and white in
contrast to silver and gold will frame a very intimate collection
with presence.
As you can see, the emerging Spanish
talent will be strong on the Fashion Week. Many enthusiasm and
expectation have risen with their participation. Personally, I feel
very fortunate to bring these talents to my team, and to be able to
share their work with the International scene.
