Cada vez está mas alejado de nosotros ese día en el que antaño, la moda flamenca era sólo cuestión de folklore. La evolución del diseño beben de las tendencias internacionales, y del mismo modo la Moda Internacional bebe de la moda flamenca.
Ésta curiosa simbiosis permite la expansión de nuestra esencia y de disfrutar de cómo la ramificación de la esencia flamenca cada vez es mas amplia, variada y nutrida. Ese es el sello de garantía de un legado que sólo hace expandirse.
Recogemos ahora los mejores momentos de la Edición 2020 del Salón Internacional de la Moda Flamenca celebrado en el palacio Fibes de Sevilla.
VERÓNICA DE LA VEGA
Hablar de la Vega es hablar de libertad. Ella es una mujer empoderada por convicción, y así siempre lo ha demostrado. Sus colecciones han ido evolucionando y estructurándose bajo este denominador común. Talento, diferencia, contrastes y personalidad son las señas de identidad de Verónica y sus flamencas. Sus diseños son una clara declaración de intenciones a pisar fuerte en el real y en la vida en general. Este año presenta Indestructible, una energía que emana en forma de rayo y que se plasma en figuras que recuerdan a los grandes momentos vividos en la Moda de los 90. Mix de estampados, sus característicos volúmenes y asimetrías, bordados que se tatúan en la piel...Indestructible es, más que nunca, Verónica de la Vega.
LUIS FERNÁNDEZ
Este diseñador no necesita carta de presentación. Su aguja siempre va un paso mas allá de la elegancia, y para muestra de ello tenemos Preludio. Sus volúmenes estudiadísimos, formas puras, absoluta limpieza, apliques florales, transparencias...todo su conjunto lo hace navegar entre la moda flamenca y la Alta Costura. Un verdadero regalo para el diseño y el saber hacer.
ALEJANDRO SANTIZO
De la misma forma, Alejandro Santizo vuelve a renovar sus votos con la pureza y la elegancia. El rojo es su seña de identidad y así inundó la pasarela. Diseños sofisticados y ultrafemeninos, que realzan al completo la silueta de una mujer que unifica tradición, estructura y forma. La moda flamenca hecha una segunda piel. Para apostar, apostamos todo al Rojo Santizo.
F DE FRANK
Siguiendo con la estela de la Alta Costura, la presentación de F de Frank no quedó atrás. Una flamenca que bien podría venir directamente de los diseños mas puramente parisinos y sofisticados. Tweeds, Detalles Maxi, Volúmenes, Plumas naturales, cristales bordados...todo hacía de Madamme un rotundo Sí.
GIL ORTIZ
Una de las presentaciones mas sorprendentes de ésta edición. Tras ganar el premio de diseñadores nóveles, presentaba una colección donde la tradición se entremezcla con la experimentación, el vanguardismo y el arte conceptual. Especial atención merecen sus singulares cortes y patronaje, todo ello complementado con tocados-bastidor. Quizás poco entendida, pero El Grito, como el propio arte, no debe ser explicado, hay que disfrutarlo.

VERONICA DE LA VEGA
Talk about de la Vega is to talk about freedom. She is a woman empowered by conviction, and she has always shown that. Her collections have evolved and structured under this common denominator. Talent, difference, contrasts and personality are the hallmarks of Veronica and her flamenco artists. Her designs are a clear statement of intentions to step on the real and life in general. This year presents Indestructible, an energy that emanates in the form of lightning and that is reflected in figures that remind of the great moments lived in the Fashion of the 90s. Mix of prints, their characteristic volumes and asymmetries, embroideries that are tattooed on the skin ... Indestructible is, more than ever, Verónica de la Vega.
LUIS FERNANDEZ
This designer does not need a cover letter. Its needle always goes one step beyond elegance, and to show it we have Prelude. Its studied volumes, pure forms, absolute cleanliness, floral sconces, transparencies ... its whole set makes it navigate between flamenco fashion and Haute Couture. A true gift for design and know-how.
ALEJANDRO SANTIZO
In the same way, Alejandro Santizo renews his vows with purity and elegance. Red is his hallmark and thus flooded the runway. Sophisticated and ultra-feminine designs, which fully enhance the silhouette of a woman that unifies tradition, structure and form. Flamenca fashion made a second skin. To bet, we bet everything on Red Santizo.
F DE FRANK
Following in the wake of Haute Couture, Frank's F presentation was not far behind. A flamenco that could well come directly from the most purely Parisian and sophisticated designs. Tweeds, Maxi details, Volumes, Natural feathers, embroidered crystals ... everything made Madamme a resounding Yes.
GIL ORTIZ
One of the most different presentations of this edition. After winning the prize of new designers, he presented a collection where tradition intermingles with experimentation, avant-garde and conceptual art. Special attention deserve its unique cuts and pattern, all complemented by headdress-frame. Perhaps little understood, but El Grito, like art itself, should not be explained, you have to enjoy it.
